Refund Policy

Last updated 27 August 2026

If it did not do what you needed, email [email protected] within 14 days and we will make it right. A person reads it and replies within two business days.

How it works

Refunds are handled case by case rather than by an automatic rule. That is a deliberate choice and it cuts both ways, so it is worth being straight about it.

Against it: there is no button, and no unconditional guarantee you can point at. For it: there is no list of conditions to fail either, no "digital goods are non-refundable" line, and no form to argue with. If the tool was not what you expected, say so and you will get a real answer from the person who built it.

Why it is not automatic

The product is a PDF that is generated and delivered instantly, in your own browser. Once you have it, it cannot be returned or taken back — there is nothing to revoke. That is exactly the situation where a lot of software sells with "all sales final", and we would rather not, because the same instant delivery means you find out very quickly whether it worked for you.

In practice, if you paid and did not get a usable document, that is a refund. If you paid, generated a certificate, used it for a shipment and then asked for the money back a month later, that is a conversation.

How to ask

Email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase. Include:

You do not need to send us your certificate, and please do not — we have no copy of it and no reason to see one. Details about your shipment are not needed to process a refund.

What happens next

We reply within two business days. That is what one person can actually honour, so it is what is written here rather than something that sounds faster.

If a refund is agreed, it goes back through Stripe to the original payment method. Stripe typically takes five to ten business days to settle a refund to a card, which is their timing rather than ours. If you paid by Interac e-Transfer, we send the money back the same way.

A refund removes your access to the download. Any certificate you have already saved is your own file and is not affected — we could not reach it in any case.

If something went wrong on our side

If you were charged and the download did not unlock, that is a fault, not a refund request, and it gets fixed first. Email us and we will send an unlock code straight away. You are not expected to pay twice or to wait for a refund cycle because our payment check failed.

Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page limits any right you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act or other consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by agreement.
